DR. ROBERTS IS AN EXPERIENCED AND AWARD-WINNING PROFESSOR OF ECONOMICS, RESEARCHER, AND SENIOR FORENSIC ECONOMIST.
Dr. Roberts earned a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Utah, specializing in fields of labor, healthcare, public, and development economics. As a professor of economics with nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Roberts has provided instruction to tens of thousands of students in both undergraduate and graduate programs. Throughout this time, he has served as faculty with Westminster College, the University of Utah, Weber State University, and Western Governor’s University – where he now serves as a senior faculty member in the graduate economics program.
As a researcher, Dr. Roberts asks profound questions, constructs powerful models, and targets purposeful outcomes. He is highly proficient in statistics and continually expands his capacity to apply these skills in new ways. He is well-versed in designing economic models, critiquing existing methodologies, and ensuring the proper interpretation of findings related to regression results or other conclusions.
Dr. Roberts is also a Senior Forensic Economist with over a decade of experience providing research, analysis, opinion, and testimony. He provides regular assistance to attorneys and businesses with cases involving personal injury, business interruption, wrongful death, and various other matters requiring economic evaluation.
